Emily is studying at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in the Bachelor of Applied Arts program and will finish her program at the University of New Brunswick. Upon completing the program, she plans to pursue a Bachelor of Education, with the prospect of becoming an art teacher.

 

Community Quilt

In Garrison Night Market Emily shared her skills by teaching people the basics of hand sewing, through a community quilt. Each contributor will be able to design and sew their own five inches by five-inch square quilt piece using scrap fabrics. This quilt will be donated to a local homeless shelter upon completion.
