Connexion Artist-Run Centre, in collaboration with the Flourish Festival, is pleased to present a work-in-progress screening of GRAVITY ASSIST, a new film by artist-in-residence Ry O’Toole. This compelling project follows the journey of a wounded alien entity as it arrives on Earth and attempts to process its new, unfamiliar environment.

The screening will take place on June 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. In addition to the preview of GRAVITY ASSIST, the program will feature a curated selection of short films, video works, and excerpts from feature-length films that have inspired and informed the artist’s creative process. The event will also include an introduction by the artist, offering insight into the development of the film.
