Connexion ARC Events

A night where Connexion ARC members can gather at the office for focused administrative work time. This is meant to be a gathering space for artists, arts administrators, and cultural workers to do all of those admin tasks that typically get put on the back burner.

This is a workshop that will cover an introduction to livecoding, which is the the creation of music and visuals through code, live. You'll need a laptop or tablet (you can use a phone but this can be a little bit more difficult) but contact the facilitators if you don't have access to one and we'll see what we an do.

We'll cover a livecoding language called strudel for sound, which is a language for making music live.

We'll cover:
- initial sounds
- rhythm, notes, and variation
- effects and sound design
- collaboration and jamming

Experience with music or with programming are nice to have, but not necessary!
