Lindsay Wells

Lindsay’s work is a space where futile moments are given a space to become the pinnacle moment. They are narratives for moments that would otherwise be lost to time, evoking anticlimactic bleakness and demanding humility. Wells is a multimedia artist and born in Canada she has received a BFA from the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Apple behind a rock on the moon

“Apple behind a rock on the moon”is a video series of moving poetry. They are meditative glimpses into fragmented lives. With a sense of no beginning and no end, the visuals become a stream of consciousness where we can celebrate the space between a thought and an ending. Time connects us to our own mortality, and recordings of our lives remind of us this but when mixed together with no sense of rhyme or reason, time loses its power and an essence of freedom is experienced .
